Based on the DC Comics character, the American TV series Arrow follows billionaire Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell - Heartland, Private Practice) who, after spending five years marooned on a remote island, returns home and secretly creates the persona of Arrow to right the wrongs of his family and fight the ills of society.

Arrow - Heroes and Villains is a comprehensive character guide to the hit Warner Bros. TV show Arrow. Featuring in-depth character breakdowns of Oliver Queen - the billionaire turned hooded vigilante, Laurel Lance - attorney and former girlfriend of Oliver, Slade Wilson - the character based on DC Comics' Deathstroke, and many, many more.

If you're a fan in any shape or form of Arrow then you will love Arrow: Heroes & Villains. Covering seasons 1 & 2 of the hit show it features 176 pages of color pictures, character bios and assorted facts & figures. It's a pretty comprehensive guide, split into - obviously! - featuring first the heroes and then the villains, including some of those who were on the infamous 'list' and a short section featuring the Suicide Squad.

Arrow: Heroes & Villains is a fascinating look at the world of Arrow and its cast. I loved the color pics, some of them full page using still from the show and publicity shots mostly, but still great to look at. Another feature I liked was the Comics History section where it lists whether the character is an Arrow original (there are quite a few) or has featured in the comics either as we know them or under a different name.

Perfect for longstanding fans who want more detail about the cast and characters from the first two seasons or for newcomers to the Arrowverse who want to catch up on the show Arrow: Heroes & Villains is definitely worth having on your shelf. My copy has been added to my shelves and is a great addition to my ever growing collection of movie & television books.

If you'd like a copy you're in luck as Titan have provided me with a copy to give away! For people in the UK only (sorry folks but it's quite a substantial book and costly to post!) simply fill in the rafflecopter to enter.

  1. My favourite comic book hero is Hawkeye without a doubt, but it's impossible for me to choose between Clint and Kate Bishop (both Hawkeye) because I love them equally :)
